Does the Akai MPC Key 61 have enough power/RAM to sequence and play an arrangement with ac. drums, el. bass, Rhodes, solo tenor sax and maybe a horn section? And, of course some effects like mild compression, EQ, reverb.

I’ve always found the nord sounds to be horrible So flat and robotic. This Akai sounds are amazing.

I had a NE6 and upgrade to NS4. I miss the function when I press Shift Button and change any parameter I can see the current value whitout change. How can I do this in my NS4? Sorry about my english

In Sweden the NS4 88 is like 4100USD and the Yamaha YC88 is like 3000USD. I haven’t tried the Yamaha, but it’s not that huge difference in price tbh

Question! When you apply an effect to a sample, it applies to all the sequences that have that sample 😥 how do I apply the effect just to the sample in a specific sequence??

I am so lost right now. I can't seem to scroll down far enough on the product page for it to show me the "view downloads" update link. And for some reason I have the MPC One+ on there as well, which I do not physically have. :( EDIT: And now my MPC 37 is telling me that I'm running the latest update already, which is why I'm not seeing the update link for the 37. Which now brings me to the first thought. Why can't I save stuff I make into the MPC. It doesn't save anything. Think I might need to contact Akai. -_-

Congrats! But I gotta ask… since you also have a Yamaha YC88. How good is that Kawai keybed in comparison with the wooden keys action of the YC? Which in my opinion is one of the best keybeds I’ve played.
